Welcome to MrFuture.com
Why I'm starting a blog, and what you'll find here: talks, projects, experiments, and what I learn along the way.
For the last couple of years I’ve been giving talks and workshops on AI engineering, hosting meetups, and building things in public: decks, workshop starters, a Mac dictation app, a haunted text adventure written by a model on my laptop. Most of it ended up as a LinkedIn post that scrolled away within a week.
This site is the permanent home for that work. Every talk gets a page with its slides and code. Every project gets a page with what it is and why I built it. And in between, I’ll write up experiments and findings as I go: what I tried, what happened, and what surprised me. Small and frequent beats polished and rare.
Where to start
- Inside Voice, free dictation for the Mac where nothing you say leaves your computer.
- Pi on a local model, my field guide to running a coding agent entirely on a laptop.
- Monster Scanner, a vision-language model on an iPhone, deployed as a Halloween party game.
If you’d like to follow along, there’s an RSS feed. And if something here is useful, wrong, or gives you an idea, tell me on LinkedIn.
